Ian's going to have a little ......

We had our 20 week ultrasound yesterday. Ian is going to have a little sister. I don't know if I'm ready for a girl. Girls scare me for some reason. Oh well, she will probably end up being a tomboy. She is already an active little thing as she was doing backflips during the ultrasound adn she was yawning and sucking her thumb. When we saw her sucking her thumb, Ian also had his fingers in his mouth as well. So it looks as if I'm going to have 2 feisty stubborn kids. Oh boy oh boy.

So far all is well with this pregnancy even though I am super paranoid. I just want to get past 27 weeks, that's our first goal.

So next month I get to do the 1 hour glucose test which I flunked with Ian. I'm hoping to not have to take the 3 hour test. That one sucks.

It looks as if we are going to have a busy fall with Ian starting preschool 2x a week and a new baby and recovery from a C section and no family to help out as they are all 3 hours away. I'm going to have way more gray hair by Christmas.

Townsend TN District Meeting

Well we went to Townsend TN this past weekend for our LPA District's Spring Regional Meeting. It was fun. The scenery was beautiful and Ian had a blast. It's so nice to be able to talk to other parents who have been where you are and can help you through issues. Also it is great for Ian to be around other kids like him. We definitely have more boys in our district than girls it seems. The dinner was nice as was the dance. Ian actually got on the dance floor but not so much to dance as he would rather investigate the DJ booth and the lights. He also had a blast in the pool. He was actually kicking and splashing although while leached onto either Perry or me but it was progress for him.

We left Sunday for Dillard, Ga to stay at the Dillard House and to visit his Aunt Peggy who hasn't seen him since his 1st Bday. The Dillard House room we had was fantastic. We didn't want to leave Monday morning. We had a view of the mountains from our room and horses in the field behind us. Of course, we pigged out at the Dillard House for dinner and breakfeast. Definitely better than my last dinner there when I couldn't keep it down as I was in full blown HELLP syndrome mode unbeknownst to me at the time. So this time I had to make up for that disastrous night. I do love me some Dillard House food. All you can eat served family style at your table. Your table is covered in plates of food and you are in food heaven.

We are back home now and trying to get ready for Easter. I haven't even had time to really get ready for it this year.

Oh well that's it for now.
